In footage shared via social media, the Princess of Wales walked over to speak with Melania, who was already engaged in conversation with Camilla. Kate and Melania seemingly shared niceties and smiled at each other before Camilla appeared to shoo her daughter-in-law out of the way. Other users, however, claimed that Camilla was ushering Kate out of the way because the horse and carriages were arriving and would be stopping close to where she was standing. The royals and the Trumps can then be seen standing in a line so the horses can approach. Camilla rode with Melania in the Scottish State Coach, while the Prince and Princess of Wales rode with Warren Stephens, the U.S. ambassador to the U.K., and his wife.
