Following his right foot amputation in February, LaVar Ball seemed to be doing better with his new prosthetic leg. The Big Baller Brand took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 16, to share a video of Ball, 57, moving down a ramp. "I am walking. Yeah, baby," Ball, who rose to fame with his Big Baller Brand involving his NBA player sons Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo, said. "I didn't think I would be moving this fast but I see I am now." The clip then showed Ball getting into the car while telling the nurses that he doesn't mind the prosthetic leg. Since the surgery, Ball has been busy on social media sharing post-op footage with fans including a video of him dancing to Haddaway's "What is Love?" in March. Later that month, Ball opened up about the amputation, revealing that it was the result of a foot infection that spread through his blood and left him in the hospital "for over a month." I ended up having to get my foot amputated," Ball said in a March interview with SLAM magazine. "First, they cut off a couple of toes. Then they cut off my foot. Then they said, 'We gotta go almost knee high for another surgery.' Three surgeries. And then there was the blood transfusions. Not one, not two, not three, four different times." Ball credited his family - especially his sons - for really helping him get through his health obstacles. "Even though I'm a bad man - I don't need much - it was good to have that backing from my boys. One of the things that makes me go is when they are all together. When they are all together, I feel strong." LaVar shares Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo with his wife, Tina Ball, who he married in 1997. All three sons have gone on to have successful careers - Lonzo currently is a point guard with the NBA's Chicago Bulls, LiAngelo played basketball overseas but now makes music as GELO and LaMelo is a point guard for the NBA's Charlotte Hornets.
