Watch: Chase Chrisley's Girlfriend Jodi Laine Fournerat Details Failed ProposalChase Chrisley isn't hearing wedding bells just yet. Indeed, his girlfriend Jodi Laine Fournerat-who's been dating Chase for two years-recalled why she rejected the Chrisley Knows Best alum's proposal. "Chase was in the shower, and he was like 'Hey, we need to talk whenever I get out the shower.' And I was like 'Oh gosh, okay,'" Jodi, 30, told Chase's grandmother Faye Chrisley on the Sept. 16 episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. "So, he gets out, he told me to close the bedroom door, and he sits on the bed, and he starts off by saying, 'You know how much I love you right?' And immediately I said, 'What did you do?'" "The next thing I know he gets up out of the bed and he starts to pull something out of his pocket," Jodi recalled. "And I knew immediately, so I turned around so that I wouldn't see the ring or anything. And I was like 'Chase, get up.' He was kneeling right there and trying to continue with his little speech." Jodi admitted Chase grew upset after she told him, "We're not doing this right here, we're not doing this right now. However, she assured him that she just wanted the moment to be special.readChase Chrisley Entered Rehab Amid His Struggles With Alcohol"I'm like, 'I'm not turning you down,'" she recalled telling Chase. "I'm turning down the environment." Faye-affectionately known as Nanny Faye-agreed, adding, "That's kinda crazy." According to Jodi-who has been dating the Growing Up Chrisley alum since 2023-Chase's follow-up proposal is going to be much better. "Anything's better than that," she said. "It's only up from here." "I didn't say no because I don't wanna be proposed to by Chase. I just said no to the environment and the whole scenario of him trying to pop the question in our bedroom." And while Jodi and Chase have Faye's blessing, his parents Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are a bit more apprehensive as they do not have a relationship with the influencer. "I want him to have a wonderful, beautiful personal life with a relationship that feeds his soul," Todd said in a separate interview alongside Julie. "That is going to be a wonderful mother to his children. That's going to be a great wife. Someone that I'm gonna like, that's important." "I don't know Jodi," the family patriarch added. "Jodi was there the day that we got home but that was five minutes I think that I spoke to her. There's been really no interaction between us and Jodi."According to Jodi, she believes that Chase's issues with his family-including sister Savannah, 28-have spilled into their perception of her. "I feel things are said about me without actually knowing me, whenever other people in the family aren't very fond of him, I'm linked to that," she shared in her own interview. "Maybe I'm not what they want me to be or whatever just because they may disagree with Chase." Still, Jodi is optimistic about forming a bond with the Chrisleys before Chase pops the question again. "I look forward to having a relationship with the rest of his family," she declared. "And being here to support Chase and along for the ride."For more on the Chrisleys and their family tree, keep readingAndrew Eccles/USA Network/NBCU Photo BankTodd Chrisley & Julie ChrisleyTodd Chrisley is the patriarch of the Chrisley family.

He was born in Georgia in April 1969 and raised in South Carolina. He and first wife Teresa Terry welcomed daughter Lindsie Chrisley in 1989 and son Kyle Chrisley in 1991 before splitting a few years later. After their breakup, Todd wed Julie Chrisley (born in South Carolina in January 1973) in 1996.

Together, they added to their family with the births of kids Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley and the adoption of Kyle's daughter Chloe Chrisley. They also went through challenges, including Julie's 2012 breast cancer battle (she's now cancer-free).

As Todd said on the premiere of Chrisley Knows Best-a show that followed the family's ups and downs as well as their rich lifestyle in Atlanta and later Nashville-he made "95 percent" of their money through his real estate business before entering reality Tv. As for Julie, she was working at a bank when she started dating Todd. Chrisley Knows Best ran from 2014 to 2023 and led to spin-offs like Growing Up Chrisley and What's Cooking With Julie? as well as other media ventures like the family members' podcasts.

In 2022, Todd and Julie were convicted of fraud and tax crimes, and they were originally sentenced to 12 and seven years in prison, respectively (with him being held in Florida and her being behind bars in Kentucky). The couple had pleaded not guilty.

In May 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned Todd and Julie and they were released from prison.
