Among his 12 nominations, Bad Bunny got two nods for record of the year with "Baile Inolvidable" and "DtMF," both of which were also nominated for song of the year. Meanwhile, his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which spent a month atop Billboard's 200 Albums chart, was nominated for album of the year. The Academy revealed this year's nominees during a livestream on Wednesday morning. Outside of Bad Bunny and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, the rest of the record of the year nominees include Jorge Drexler & Conociendo Rusia's Desastres Fabulosos, Zoe Gotusso's "Lara," Karol G's "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido," Natalia Lafourcade's "Cancionera," Liniker's "Ao Teu Lado" and Alejandro Sanz' "Palmeras en El Jardín." On the album side, the rest of the nominees were Rauw Alejandro's Cosa Nuestra, Gloria Estefan's Raíces, Vicente García's Puñito De Yocahú, Joaquina's Al Romper la Burbuja, Natalia Lafourcade's Cancionera, Carín León's Palabra De To's (Seca), Liniker's Caju, Elena Rose's En Las Nubes (Con Mis Panas) and Alejandro Sanz' ¿Y Ahora Que? The remaining song of the year nominees were "Bogotá," "Cancionera," "Otra Noche De Llorar," "Palmeras En El Jardín," "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido," and "Veludo Marrom." Rounding out the general categories, this year's best new artist nominees are Alleh, Annasofia, Yerai Cortés, Juliane Gamboa, Camila Guevara, Isadora, Alex Luna, Paloma Morphy, Sued Nunes and Ruzzi. "The impact of Latin music continues to grow on a global level, and all of the nominated artists encompass its diversity and richness while continuing to preserve the iconic sounds that make our music unique," Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud said in a statement Wednesday. With the nominees announced, the final round of voting will start on Oct. 1, and the awards show will officially take place Nov. 13 at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, airing on TelevisaUnivision's U.S. platforms at 8 p.m. ET.
