"With great regret, Her Majesty the Queen has withdrawn from attendance at this afternoon's requiem mass for the Duchess of Kent as she is recovering from acute sinusitis. Her thoughts and prayers will be with Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent and all the family," the statement read. Katherine was married to Edward, who is Queen Elizabeth II's first cousin. _ King Charles III, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were all on hand to celebrate the life of Katharine, Duchess of Kent. In a tender moment, the Princess of Wales could be seen hugging her father-in-law before they made their way into Westminster Cathedral for mass. _ Queen Camilla will have to make a speedy recovery ahead of United States President Donald Trump's visit to England later this week. The 78-year-old and King Charles III are set to host the controversial politician for a ceremonial welcome and lavish state banquet during his trip.
