Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper partied into the night after celebrating the team's second-consecutive NL East title. Harper, 32, and the Phillies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-5 in 10 innings at Dodger Stadium on Monday, September 15, to clinch the division. Once back inside the clubhouse, Harper tore off his shirt for a beer and champagne-soaked celebration with his teammates. Harper, who doesn't drink, was seen guzzling through a funnel, but made sure to clarify his beverage of choice was apple juice. To be able to hit a homer in a big situation, a big spot to put us ahead, just a lot of fun." While the Phillies allowed themselves to celebrate for one night, Harper kept things in perspective while looking ahead. "We're playing really good baseball right now and just got to keep going and keep understanding we've got a bigger picture," Harper said. "We've got things on our mind that we want to win." While Harper stayed sober during the locker room festivities, the same could not be said for all of his teammates. "We've had a lot of really big injuries happen to us and we just have that next-man-up mentality. I felt like guys came up, they stepped up right away and they got the job done. That's how you win big baseball games." The 2025 MLB Playoffs begin with the Wild Card Round on September 30.
