Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's love story is often compared to something out of a movie, but not everybody is lining up to buy a ticket. Prior to the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LIX rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, September 14, Fox NFL Sunday aired a fake movie trailer for My Big Fat Chiefs Wedding, a play on My Big Fat Greek Wedding, featuring the newly-engaged couple. "She's one of the most successful musical artists in the world, and he's six-foot-five," a voiceover said while clips of Swift and Kelce, 35, were shown. "But somehow they still found love." The trailer then cut to an actor playing Kelce bounding into the Chiefs locker room. Chiefs PA Announcer Abruptly Quits After 16 Years, Says Team Crossed 'Line' "Hey guys, it's me, Travis Kelce," the actor said. "Guess what? I'm getting married." The voiceover continued, "Falling in love was the easy part. Now comes the hard part: meeting his football family." Actors playing Kelce's Chiefs teammates, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, then peppered him with questions, like, "How do you know she's not just into you for your money?" and, "Where's she from?" "She grew up an hour outside of Philly," fake Kelce responded, earning groans from his teammates. An actress playing Swift was then seen attempting to catch footballs on a field with an actor portraying Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, before she made her way inside the locker room. The trailer also featured a cameo from NSYNC member Joey Fatone, who hops on a FaceTime call with fake Kelce. Fatone, 48, appeared in the original My Big Fat Greek Wedding. "No, I'm not doing this," Fatone said. "I'm a Giants fan." Fake Kelce responded, "Well I'm a Backstreet Boys fan. Bye bye bye." The tongue-in-cheek trailer wasn't exactly every viewer's cup of tea as they geared up for the NFL slate of games on Sunday. "As soon as it started I just turned the channel," one fan wrote via X. Another wrote, "I have to imagine some illegal substances and cold pizza at 2 am was involved in the planning and maybe even the execution of this."
