After accepting the Emmy on Sunday for best reality competition series on behalf of The Traitors, Cumming was asked backstage in the press room who he thinks should join the show. "I'm sure our president would be very good on the show ... having a lot of chaos and sort of turmoil and treachery, so maybe he'd like to come on and be paid for that, probably better than he gets as president," the host responded. While accepting the Emmy earlier in the night, Cumming acknowledged that "it's a difficult time we live in, but it's so great that our show brings a little bit of joy into this life." He also showed appreciation for the series' cast, crew and fans for their support. While it's unlikely Trump would compete on The Traitors while serving his second term in the White House, he's no stranger to reality television, having been host and a producer on The Apprentice from 2004 to 2015. As for the upcoming fourth season of the Cumming-hosted series, the cast includes Donna Kelce, former Housewives Lisa Rinna and Dorinda Medley, actors Ron Funches and Michael Rapaport, RuPaul's Drag Race star Monét X Change, Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas and Love Island USA's Rob Rausch, among others.
