After Tim Mara, founded the team in 1925, ownership has passed through three generations, with John Mara assuming the titles of President, CEO and co-owner in 2005. With both his father, Wellington Mara, and grandfather enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, John has had a lot to live up to. During his tenure, the Giants have won a pair of Super Bowls and, along with New York Jets ownership, brought the Super Bowl to the New York area in 2014 for the first time ever.
