Few families in American sports are as closely associated with one team as the Maras are with the New York Giants. After Tim Mara, founded the team in 1925, ownership has passed through three generations, with John Mara assuming the titles of President, CEO and co-owner in 2005. With both his father, Wellington Mara, and grandfather enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, John has had a lot to live up to. During his tenure, the Giants have won a pair of Super Bowls and, along with New York Jets ownership, brought the Super Bowl to the New York area in 2014 for the first time ever.
