Brendan Fraser John Nacion / Getty Images "He was sexually assaulted, tried to bring it to light, and Hollywood cast him out for it. Couldn't get acting roles for many years." Brendan Fraser is best known for his roles in School Ties, George of the Jungle, The Whale, and The Mummy. In 2018, Fraser alleged that Philip Berk, the then-president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, groped him in 2003, which Berk has denied. Fraser wondered if this led to the organization blacklisting him in Hollywood. Berk stated that the organization took no action against Fraiser.

Peter Jackson later shared these beliefs when he shared that he removed Mira Sorvino from the casting list for The Lord of the Rings after Weinstein called her "a nightmare to work with."A spokesperson for Weinstein said, " Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances. Mr. Weinstein obviously can't speak to anonymous allegations, but with respect to any women who have made allegations on the record, Mr. Weinstein believes that all of these relationships were consensual."Suggested by WitchyCatBitch 3.
