Dakota Johnson plays a matchmaker who can't seem to find "the one" for herself in Materialists, the new movie from Oscar-nominated writer-director Celine Song. Called a "refreshingly complex look at modern love" by THR's David Rooney, the critic-favorite film is now available to watch online. Before it streams on demand on HBO Max, Materialists is available to buy or rent online on digital in 4K Ultra HD starting at $19.99 at Prime Video, Apple TV and elsewhere. Until then, Materialists is available to rent in 4K Ultra HD for $19.99, or to buy for $24.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and other video-on-demand platforms. Tickets to see the film in theaters are still available at fandango.com and elsewhere. When the Materialists eventually arrives on HBO Max, a subscription will be required to watch on demand.
