Heather Dubrow is setting the record straight on what her Beverly Hills penthouse is really used for. "It's my closet, my shower, my office. I have a little podcast studio, but we don't sleep up there," Heather, 56, exclusively shared with Us Weekly as iHeartPodcasts celebrated their fall shows on Wednesday, September 10. "But if we want privacy, we would go up there. That was my point. It's not, like, a sex room. Please. Stop it!" During an August episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, viewers received an inside look at Heather and Dr. Terry Dubrow's properties in Los Angeles. "We have another apartment downstairs in our building so it's where everyone has dinner together," Heather explained in a confessional interview. "It's where we watch television together. It's like our family house. The penthouse is more for - quite frankly - sexy time." "Then 10 days into escrow, Josh Altman cold called me, 'I have someone who wants to buy your [Orange County] house.' We sold it and moved out in three weeks. We probably never would have bought a two-bedroom apartment - no matter how fabulous it was - knowing we were about to sell our home." The cohost of iHeartRadio's "Between Us" podcast went on to paint a clearer picture of what her Beverly Hills apartment truly looks like. According to Heather, one floor has four bedrooms while another level has two bedrooms. "We sleep downstairs with our youngest child, Ace, who's 14, and then Max and Kat have bedrooms down there too. And Nicky goes to school in Los Angeles so he's got a house with his buddies in LA, so he sort of has the guest room upstairs. So we use that apartment." In addition to the show, Heather and Terry, 66, are working together on their "Between Us" podcast with iHeartRadio. In just a few weeks, the couple has discussed everything from The Biggest Loser's Netflix docuseries to their real estate "fails." "We said, 'Let's do a new podcast together, and let's keep this learning thing going. Let's tell a bit about our lives and our family dynamics,'" she explained. "We are constantly being asked, 'What supplements do you take? What workouts do you do? Have you had plastic surgery? How do you feel about this and that happened? How do you parent your children?' So we thought, OK, this is kind of cool. Maybe we can do this podcast and learn along with the audience, and maybe teach a little too."
