"I think the two cultures which came together in the marriage of Harry and Meghan, there is a fault line down the middle of it. I feel that will crack one day," the ex-staffer explained. "Think about it. Harry came from this very busy world of the royal family with lots to do. Even in his spare time, he could play polo and do whatever he wanted." Paul believes a split is "inevitable" as the Spare author "wears thin" of life in California. "He is sat in Montecito, twiddling his thumbs, thinking, 'What do I do next? What is my role? Where is my work?'" he added. "As Meghan rises in Netflix firmament into whatever she will do, I think it won't be enough for Meghan and it won't be enough for Harry." _ Paul Burrell pointed out how Meghan Markle's life drastically changed when she joined The Firm after marrying Prince Harry in 2018. "I don't think Meghan ever considered being a supporting actress," the 67-year-old said. "I think she wanted to be a star." In Paul's tell-all book The Royal Insider: My Life with the Queen, the King and Princess Diana, he alleged Meghan didn't understand that Kate Middleton's position in the family would always come first before her own. "She wanted to be the star, but she would always have second billing to the future Queen Catherine," he penned. "While Meghan wanted celebrity status, she did not want to conform to the rules of the House of Windsor. Being American, she struggled to understand the culture of the royal establishment with its rules and protocols." _ While Paul Burrell doesn't have high hopes for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle living happily ever after, he revealed what he thinks could be next for the With Love, Meghan star."She will just go off and her next step is a billionaire because she's got millions, so why not step up to a billionaire?" he said in an interview. "Or why not become governor of California?" _ The comments from Paul Burrell come after Prince Harry reunited with his father, King Charles III, amid their public estrangement. According to reports, during the 40-year-old's trip to the U.K., he had a private tea at the royal residence with the leader of England. Harry was spotted being driven through the gates of Clarence House in a black Range Rover and allegedly stayed for under an hour.
