He claimed that the total payout will exceed $36 million, calling it a "big and important win." Wrote Trump, "This is another in a long line of victories over the Fake News media, who we are holding to account for their widespread fraud and deceit." _ President Donald Trump further warned that Paramount might be just the first company to face legal repercussions. They also asked if Skydance played a role in the cancelation of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, after the host of the program called the settlement a "big fat bribe."
