Fans of Dawson's Creek who missed the initial reunion tickets are now getting another chance to see the cast live. Tickets for the reunion initially went live in August, ranging in price from $199 to $2,500 and selling out in under 12 minutes. On Tuesday, September 9, the New York City-based event launched a lottery system for $25 tickets via Broadway Direct. The lottery system will close at 3 p.m. ET on Monday, September 15, with winners being notified within minutes. They will have 60 minutes to claim their tickets and pay for them. The OG cast - James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson - shared in August that they would be teaming up with F Cancer for an event on September 22. The reunion will be celebrated with creator Kevin Williamson and directed by Jason Moore. "We grew up in Capeside and that's a bond that will last a lifetime," Williams said in a statement, referring to the location of the series. "We wanted to gather around our dear friend James and remind him that we are all here. We always have been and we always will be. And I know the fans of Dawson's Creek feel the same way." Williamson gushed that he's "so excited" to reunite with "our Dawson's Creek family for such a special night." "Dawson's Creek changed my life," he said in a statement. "What began as a personal story about a young man and his friends navigating their way through the challenges of life became so much more than I ever dreamed." I am so honored to be a part of it and to support our beautiful friend, James, as we continue to navigate our way through life and its many challenges." The event will benefit the charity and Van Der Beek, who is currently battling stage III colorectal cancer. Van Der Beek, who stars as Dawson in the series, announced his cancer battle in November 2024 and shared that he's "cautiously optimistic" about his recovery. "When I've been out of the woods completely for what feels like a responsible amount of time, I'll circle back and let you know," he told People at the time. "I have a lot to live for."
