The Los Angeles Police Department has launched a death investigation after a gruesome discovery. Police confirmed to Us Weekly that officers responded to the 1000 block of Mansfield Avenue in Hollywood on Monday, September 8, "for a foul odor coming from a vehicle at a tow yard." Detectives responded and located possible human remains inside a Tesla. Police confirmed it is currently a death investigation. Authorities told KTLA that the Tesla was towed from the Hollywood Hills after it was reported abandoned nearly a week ago.
