Evan Agostini / Getty Images On the red carpet, Summer enthusiastically told Entertainment Tonight she was channeling Pamela. While eating cotton candy that matched her look, she said, "You know, she had the same, obviously in pink, for her VMA look." In 1998, the designer attended a Playboy party with her then-boyfriend, Slick Fifty drummer Jesse Dylan Baird, who wore one of her feathered cowboy hats. Tommy Lee, Pam's then-husband, admired the hat so much that Jesse gifted it to him. Ivy told the Hollywood Reporter, "I was a little peeved. But that was his idol. What was I gonna say?" So, they arranged to meet up so he could pick out a new hat. From then on, they became friends, and she'd make hats for his girlfriends, too. Kevin.

She told THR, "Pam just saw the whole thing with the hats [in the 'Get Naked' video], and she came up to me and said, 'Hey, so I'm [presenting at] the [VMAs] next week. Could you make me a pink feathered cowboy hat?' I made her this pink feathered - I can't really call it a cowboy hat - it was just an Ivy Supersonic feathered hat. It was very big, pink, and fluffy. I thought that she would like it, and I was hoping she would." Kevin.
