The annual two-day event, which takes place the weekend before the Primetime Emmys, will give dozens of awards to mostly below-the-line categories on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7. Among the categories being presented during the Night 1 ceremony on Saturday are best guest actor and actress in a drama series, best guest actor and actress in a comedy series, best animated program, best casting for a comedy series, best casting for a drama series, best casting for a limited or anthology series or movie, best TV movie and more. This year, Severance leads the Emmy nominees with 24 noms, followed by The Penguin (24), The Studio (23), The White Lotus (23), The Last of Us (16), Andor (14), Hacks (14), Adolescence (13), The Bear (13) and The Pitt (13). The two Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremonies are taking place at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, but are not televised live. An edited presentation of both ceremonies will later air on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 8:00 p.m. PT on FXX and will be available to stream on Hulu through Oct. 7. The 77th Emmy Awards will air live on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Trophies for juried awards were previously handed out in categories for animation, costume design, emerging media programming and motion and title design. A complete list of Night 1 nominees follows.
