Charlie Sheen will disclose new details about his past sexual experiences with other men in both his upcoming documentary and memoir. In a clip of aka Charlie Sheen obtained by People on Friday, September 5, Sheen, 60, was asked how it felt to disclose his history. "Liberating. It's f***ng liberating ... [to] just talk about stuff. It's like a train didn't come through the side of the restaurant," Sheen said. "A f***ing piano didn't fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me." Sheen further discussed the origins of his relationships in Friday's broadcast of Good Morning America while promoting his memoir, The Book of Sheen. The actor revealed that he began having sex with men when he used drugs. Winning! See Charlie Sheen Through the Years "That's where it was born, or sparked," he said. "And in whatever chunks of time that I was off the pipe, trying to come to terms with it, [like], 'Where did that come from? Why did that happen?' and then just finally being like, 'So what?' Some of it was weird. A lot of it was f***ing fun, and life goes on." Sheen opted to keep his history private for many years. "It did come with a tremendous amount of extortion," he claimed on Friday. "So at the time, I was just like, 'All right, let's just pay to keep it quiet. And just hope it just stays over there, make it go away, you know? Make it go away.'" According to Sheen, he never "led with" his sexual experiences in conversations. Sheen revealed in 2015 that he was HIV-positive. "That was a tremendous relief," he said on GMA. "That felt like, 'OK, now I can focus on some other things.' I feel pretty good now." After his diagnosis, Sheen stopped using drugs and alcohol and has since been completely sober. "My body was starting to reject it, [and] I talk about it in the book," he said. "Literally, like, turning inside out. I was a mess." Sheen has been married three times: to Donna Peele from 1995 to 1996, Denise Richards from 2002 to 2006 and Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011.
