Mubi releases the psychological drama in theaters Nov. 7 following its premiere earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival. LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte and Sissy Spacek round out the cast. Die My Love centers on Grace (Lawrence) and Jackson (Pattison), a loving couple who leave New York for an inherited home in the country. After welcoming a baby, Grace begins to mentally unravel and finds herself empowered in unexpected ways. The footage appears to show Lawrence and Pattinson in a heated confrontation, while other moments feature a character wielding a knife. Ramsay (You Were Never Really Here) directed the movie from a script she co-wrote with Alice Birch that is based on author Ariana Harwicz's 2012 novel. Producers include Lawrence, Andrea Calderwood, Justine Ciarrocchi, Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, Scorsese and Molly Smith. In his review of Die My Love for The Hollywood Reporter, chief film critic David Rooney wrote that Lawrence delivers "a no-holds-barred performance that careens between disturbed reality and disturbing fantasy." During a Cannes afterparty hosted by THR, Lawrence used the film as a jumping-off point to explain how raising her two children has impacted her career perspective. "It changes your whole life, but it's brutal and incredible," the actress said of parenthood. "I didn't know that I could feel so much, and my job has a lot to do with emotion, and they've opened up the world to me. It's almost like a blister or something, so sensitive. So they've changed my life, obviously, for the best, and they've changed me."
