Don Arnold / WireImage However, Pedro admitted in a recent interview that his "snappy" side came out when filming promo material for his latest movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which also stars Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Don Arnold / WireImage Pedro was exposed when The Spill podcast asked him and Vanessa what the "most interesting thing" they learned about each other was during filming. The Spill / Via tiktok.com Vanessa, who is currently pregnant with her first child, immediately started giggling to herself and seemed pretty uncomfortable as Pedro sheepishly looked at her. He then exclaimed: "Yes, I'm a grump! I'm a grump - it doesn't make me a bad person!" The Spill / Via tiktok.com "The only reason I laugh is because, look at this smile?" Vanessa then explained, pointing at Pedro's grin. "He never stops smiling! And at about, I would say, 6 p.m., if we go into overtime, then he gets a little bit snappy. A bit cranky. "We had to do these, like, promo things, we were shooting all day long." The Spill / Via tiktok.com Vanessa confirmed that they were regularly taking on 18-hour days as Pedro continued: "Joe and Vanessa were popping off about the fact: 'We're exhausted, exhausted.'"Once again, Vanessa confirmed this was true, and Pedro explained: "She's pregnant, the whole thing... They get me all worked up. They get me all worked up, and my protective vibes get going, and then my shackles are up and everything like that.""Then we get there, and I'm ready to make it go as fast as possible," he went on. "And then the two of them [Vanessa and Joseph] are like: 'Oh, why don't we try it like this? Why don't we try it like that? Shall we have another go? Let's talk about this a little bit longer...'""And then he turns into a snappy turtle," Vanessa concluded, giggling. "And you said: 'Don't get snappy with me!'" Pedro recalled as he hugged his costar, with Vanessa laughing some more as she admitted that she did say that - and even pointed her finger at Pedro as though he were a naughty child at the time.
