Shockingly, one of their longest-running cast members is leaving, and five new featured players are being added. Here are alllllll the details of the cast changes that have happened so far this year: Here's who's leaving the cast: Devon Walker. John Nacion / Variety via Getty Images Devon was a cast member for three years, and said on Instagram that being on the show was "Sometimes... really cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell," and that he'd like to star in a "prestige drama" next. Emil Wakim. Dia Dipasupil / Getty Images Emil was a cast member for one season and was the show's first Lebanese-American cast member. On Instagram, Emil said, "it was a gut punch of a call to get but i'm so grateful for my time there" and that he's "excited for whatever chapter comes next." Heidi Gardner. Kyle Rivas / Getty Images Heidi was SNL's longest-running female cast member before it was announced that she wouldn't be returning for season 51. She had been with the show for eight years. Michael Longfellow. Taylor Hill / FilmMagic Michael was a cast member for three years, and said on Instagram, "It was the best three years of my life so far," and that he is "Excited for the future and things to come." And here's who's joining the cast: Ben Marshall. NBC / Caro Scarimbolo/NBC via Getty Images Ben has been at SNL since 2021 as part of the writing trio Please Don't Destroy. He'll be joining the featured cast.
As for the other members of Please Don't Destroy, Martin Herlihy will be staying on as a writer, and John Higgins will be leaving the show. Jeremy Culhane. His credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Heathers, American Vandal, and The Sex Lives of College Girls. Kam Patterson. Samantha Burkardt / SXSW Conference & Festivals via Getty Images Kam is a stand-up comic who is regularly featured on Tony Hinchcliffe's "Kill Tony" podcast and will be in the upcoming film 72 Hours with Kevin Hart. Tommy Brennan. NBC / Rosalind O'Connor/NBC via Getty Images Tommy is a stand-up comic who performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar in New York City and has also performed on The Tonight Show. Veronika Slowikowska. Chris Saucedo / Getty Images Veronika is well-known for the sketches she performs and posts on TikTok and Instagram.
