Hyland takes over the role of singer Connie Francis from Gracie Lawrence, who was Tony nominated for her portrayal. Lawrence, who leads a pop group alongside her brother Clyde, will play her final performance in the role on Oct. 5. Hyland begins Oct. 8. Additionally, Erika Henningsen (Four Seasons, Broadway's Mean Girls) will play her final performance as Sandra Dee on Sept. 14. Sadie Dickerson, a Missouri State University graduate, will make her Broadway debut as she takes over the role starting Sept. 16. She made her Broadway debut at 16, when she originated the role of Jackie Bouvier in Grey Gardens at Playwrights Horizons. Developed and directed by Alex Timbers, Just In Time opened at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway on April 26. The musical follows Groff as the singer Bobby Darin (behind songs such as "Beyond the Sea" and "Splish Splash") and has been consistently selling out at the box office. The musical features a book by Warren Leight and Isaac Oliver, music supervision and arrangements by Tony Award nominee Andrew Resnick, orchestrations by Andrew Resnick and Michael Thurber and choreography by Shannon Lewis. In addition to Groff, the two join a company featuring Michele Pawk (Wicked), Joe Barbara (A Bronx Tale The Musical), Drama Desk Award nominee Emily Bergl (Good Night, Oscar), Lance Roberts (The Music Man), Caesar Samayoa (Come From Away), Christine Cornish (Kiss Me, Kate), Julia Grondin (Funny Girl), Valeria Yamin (Moulin Rouge!), John Treacy Egan (My Fair Lady), Tari Kelly (Mr. Saturday Night), Matt Magnusson (A Wonderful World), Khori Michelle Petinaud (Lempicka) and Larkin Reilly (Bad Cinderella).
