MORE: Follow Wonderwall on MSN for more top news _ The Daily Express reported that, according to a source, the palace has "opened a line of communication" between Prince Harry and King Charles III that could lead to a reconciliation. _ Former royal butler Grant Harrold told the Daily Express that Prince Harry "will be slightly nervous" about the possibility of seeing King Charles III "because it's quite a big deal if he does get to see his father." Added Harrold, "There would be discussions about whether the rift could be healed." _ Grant Harrold thinks a full reconciliation between Prince Harry and King Charles III will take time. "There is a chance they could begin to resolve it. But I don't think one meeting is going to resolve four or five years of fallout. But it's a stepping stone in the start of the healing process," he said. _ Despite the enthusiasm about Prince Harry potentially seeing King Charles III, Grant Harrold pointed out that the reunion "might not happen." Noted the former royal butler, "It is only speculation that there will be a reunion. ... If they have a reunion of any kind, the biggest thing for [Charles] is that it will remain a private conversation, and it doesn't ever become public knowledge. With any family that has had a falling out and is trying to resolve differences, they will not want to be in a situation where it becomes any worse and family members speak out." Added Harrold, "Knowing the king, he will want this resolved. That will be the plan."
