The 30 Rock star will play Mary Todd Lincoln for an eight-week run starting Oct. 14. Jinkx Monsoon, who is currently starring in the show, will finish her run Sept. 28. Hannah Solow, an understudy who has been with the production since its Off-Broadway run, will play the title role from Sept. 30 through Oct. 12. The role of Mary Todd Lincoln was originated by Cole Escola, who won a Tony Award for their portrayal, and also wrote the play. She won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Carla in the Broadway revival of Nine, and a Tony nomination for Grand Hotel. Other Broadway credits include Company, Once Upon a Mattress, Tartuffe and Starlight Express. She won an Olivier Award for Guys and Dolls in the West End. "Thank you, Cole, for giving us this madcap work of genius, directed to perfection by Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton," Krakowski said. "I am so honored to slip into the bratty curls previously worn by (my Tony Award winning zaddy) Cole Escola, (my sister wife) Betty Gilpin, (my comedy brother) Tituss Burgess, and (mother) Jinkx Monsoon." Directed by Sam Pinkleton, who won a Tony for his direction, Oh, Mary! opened on Broadway on July 11, 2024. The show has broken its own box office record twelve times, and became the first show of the 2024-25 Broadway season to recoup its investment. The play now has tickets on sale through July 5, 2026.
