Romanian tennis player Sorana Cirstea is claiming she was robbed of some precious hardware while in New York City for the 2025 US Open. "Whoever stole my Cleveland trophy from room 314 @thefiftysonesta please give it back!" Cirstea, 35, wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday, August 30. "It has NO material value, just sentimental value! It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Sorana." Cirstea's trophy was allegedly stolen from The Fifty Sonesta Hotel New York, located in midtown Manhattan. Us Weekly has reached out to the hotel and the NYPD for comment.
