Brooke Hogan finally got to see her late father Hulk Hogan's body five weeks after his death. The Hogan Knows Best alum, 37, described what it was like seeing the pro wrestler when she called into media personality Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show on Wednesday, August 27. Brooke had been estranged from Hulk for some years before his death on July 24. "It was actually a really nice day," Brooke said. "I was able to see my dad, and he looked great - he looked like he was ready for a pay-per-view [wrestling event]," she continued. Inside the Ongoing Investigation Into Hulk Hogan's Death: What to Know Brooke added, "He looked like he was ready to go on TV. He was big, strong, hair looking good, bandanna on, Fu Manchu [mustache] going ... he looked great. It was awesome to see him." Brooke said that she said a prayer over her father and said her "final goodbyes" to the professional wrestling legend. "It was super nice," she concluded. In a separate interview with TMZ on Wednesday, Brooke said that she also saw incision scars on Hulk's chest, confirming that an autopsy had been performed on the star's body. "That was what I came there to do," Brooke said, referring to her recent pleas for an autopsy to rule out any suspicions about the manner of Hulk's death. What Has Happened With Hulk Hogan's Family and Legacy After His Death In an August 7 Instagram Story, Brooke offered to pay for an autopsy on Hulk's body amid uncertainty about his cause of death. A medical examiner's report noted that Hulk had battled cancer, something Brooke was not aware of before his death. "I'm glad to see that my dad has not been cremated and that Sky [Daily, Hulk's widow] is waiting because of family questions," Brooke shared. "With all of the speculation and uncertainty of my dad's death, I want to personally offer to pay for an autopsy if that's what it takes to get it done." Brooke told TMZ that having seen Hulk's body, she is satisfied that everything is "on the up and up." Hulk died after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida, in late July. He was 71. A medical examiner's report confirmed the WWE icon died from acute myocardial infarction, otherwise known as a heart attack. Documents obtained by Us Weekly also indicate that Hulk had a history of leukemia CLL, a cancer that affects white blood cells. His cancer was not previously made public.
