"I just went on a girls' trip recently, and my girlfriends were like, 'Oh my gosh, that's so sweet, you keep it by the side of your bed.' It's like, yeah, you could look at your phone, but it's just - I don't know, I'm sentimental in that way," she said. _ On the second season of With Love, Meghan, Meghan Markle shared her take on how to pack an overnight bag. "Seeing it all is really helpful. I used to be one of those people who said, 'Let's just throw everything in the bag.' Then you get there and go, 'Oh gosh, I forgot that thing.' So I've become really conscious of the things I need that are uniform and staples that you can mix and match," she said. _ Meghan Markle likes to pack a uniform of classic wardrobe staples when she travels. While packing for a trip to Malibu with her friend Heather Dorak, Meghan shared, "Let's say Heather and I will go for a quick coffee or breakfast. White T-shirt, jeans, I'll toss a blazer in." The former actress said that packing reminds her of her "auditioning days" and noted that her agent once told her, "If you're prepared, there's no need to be nervous." _ Meghan Markle's comments about packing for trips were not well received. "Megsy has moved from pretzels in plastic bags to packing clothes in suitcases. Bless her heart," one critic wrote. "Next episode, how to arrange your cell phone wallet. No wonder this stuff wasn't in the first batch. Good Lord!" another said. _ Many of Meghan Markle's critics pointed out that her packing tips were just basic common sense. "Bewildering. So many people travel a lot these days, does she really think we need this lesson?" one person asked. "HOW did any of us get along without her tips and tricks? I never knew you folded clothes to put them in a suitcase. I always just balled them up and shoved them in," another snarked. _ Meghan Markle was criticized for filming the first season of With Love, Meghan at a rental instead of her own home. That prompted one viewer to question, "Does this mean she packed a bag to take to the rented house for Netflix filming, to then unpack it and then re-pack in front of cameras?"
