The comedian and title star of the streamer's sitcom Leanne has a date for her second stand-up special. The hour-long set, titled Leanne Morgan: Unspeakable Things, is set to premiere Nov. 4. Unspeakable Things comes on the heels of Leanne premiering on Netflix in late July. The comedy, created by Morgan, Susan McMartin and Chuck Lorre, follows her character as she puts her life back together when her husband (Ryan Stiles) leaves her for another woman. Kristen Johnston, Celia Weston, Blake Clark, Graham Rogers and Hannah Pikes also star. He didn't want to base it on my real family, and he liked the idea of starting over because it's a theme that people can relate to," she said. "I balked at first, but I think it's the smartest thing we did because I really would've felt protective over my children, my grandchildren and [husband] Chuck Morgan." Unspeakable Things, however, will very much be in the vein of Morgan's more personal stand-up comedy. The special will have her "opening up about everything - from newfound stardom and family life to trying CBD for the first and last time," per Netflix's logline. Morgan's first special, I'm Every Woman, is Netflix's most viewed comedy special by a woman comedian since the beginning of 2023. Following that, Morgan signed a deal for two more specials, of which Unspeakable Things is the first. She told THR the next one will come in 2027. Morgan, Judi Marmel and Emily Noonan executive produce Unspeakable Things. Manny Rodriguez directed the special.
