The 69th BFI London Film Festival has confirmed the U.K. premiere of the stars' new film, 100 Nights of Hero, will screen at the event's closing night gala Oct. 19. The "Brat" singer and The Crown actor Corrin are expected to attend, as well as stars Maika Monroe, Amir El-Masry, Richard E. Grant and Felicity Jones. The film first hits the Lido on Sept. 6, earning its world premiere in Venice Critics' Week. Julia Jackman's second feature marks a return to the BFI London Film Festival with her debut feature Bonus Track premiering at the festival in 2023. Jackman said: "The BFI London Film Festival has championed my work since my very early shorts, so bringing 100 Nights of Hero here is profoundly special. To return as the closing night gala is an incredible honour, and we can't wait to share this film on our home turf with a London audience." Kristy Matheson, BFI London Film Festival's director, added: "Julia Jackman is a filmmaker of enormous talent whose work we've had the pleasure of presenting in previous editions of the festival. We were genuinely excited to see 100 Nights of Hero and it won us over immediately with its witty scripting, pitch perfect performances and a joyfully rebellious heart.... I'm personally honoured and delighted to welcome Julia and her talented team to take the stage this year and share this wondrous film with audiences." Independent Film Company releases 100 Nights of Hero in the U.S. on Dec. 5. LFF will run Oct. 8-19 2025.
