Wake Up Barstool will debut Tuesday Sept. 2, and will run from 8 a.m. through 10 a.m., with Barstool founder Dave Portnoy and talent like Dan "Big Cat" Katz and Eric Sollenberger (widely known as "PFT Commenter") as well as a rotating cast of Barstool's most popular personalities, including T-Bob Hebert, Brandon Walker and former NBA All-Star Jason Williams. The current plan is to have Portnoy host on Mondays alongside Jason Williams, Brandon Walker and Rico Bosco. The new show is a major part of Fox's deal with Portnoy's self-described "pirate ship" of a media brand, with the legacy media company hoping to bring Barstool's younger fans into the larger fold. Barstool will also stream its college football pregame show on some Fox digital channels, and will leverage Fox talent in its own content. Portnoy is also scheduled to make his Fox debut on this week's Big Noon Kickoff game between Ohio State and Texas, though that appearance made headlines this week after it was reported that he would be banned from entering the stadium, forcing him to contribute from outside (Portnoy is a well-known Michigan fan, the arch-rivals of Ohio State).
