Meghan Markle made a rare reference to her time on Suits during With Love, Meghan season 2. During the show's seventh episode, Meghan, 44, took a road trip to Los Angeles with longtime bestie Heather Dorak. While they were there, the pair took a cocktail making class with mixologist Payman Bahmani-Bailey - who had a past in the legal world. "How did you get into mixology?" Meghan asked. Bahmani-Bailey told the Duchess of Sussex that it was "a very good question" before revealing that he used to be a lawyer in New York City. "Did you watch Suits?" Meghan asked. Bahmani-Bailey, unfortunately, did not. "I don't watch basic cable," he replied. "I like shows with curse words and stuff." A 'Wild Ride'! Everything Meghan Markle Said About 'Suits' Over the Years Meghan laughed at his response. "I love it," she said. Meghan played Rachel Zane in Suits from 2011 to 2018, although her final episode was filmed in 2017. Meghan starred alongside Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres. She departed from the show ahead of her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. "I don't see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change. It's a new chapter, right?" she said in a 2017 interview with the BBC about leaving the show. "I've ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I've done there, and now it's time to work with [Harry] as a team." The show's creator, Aaron Korsh, previously revealed that when Meghan and Harry kicked off their romance, the royal family "weighed in on some stuff" regarding the show's dialogue. "Not many things, by the way, but a few things that we wanted to do and couldn't do, and it was a little irritating," he claimed to The Hollywood Reporter in August 2023. Patrick J. Adams Jokes Meghan and Harry Inspired New 'Suits' Viewers Meghan has made rare comments about the success of Suits over the years, even sharing her reaction to the USA Network series blowing up after it debuted on Netflix in 2023. "Isn't that wild?" she said during the Variety Power of Women event in November 2023 after hearing that Suits had been streamed for more than 45 billion streaming on Netflix and Peacock combined. "It's hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting," she added. "It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time." All episodes of With Love, Meghan are now streaming on Netflix.
