Sometimes stars are just like Us and have trouble getting into certain events. In February 2016, Paul McCartney - along with Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins - were denied entry into Tyga's 2016 Grammy's afterparty at the Argyle in Los Angeles. As seen in footage obtained by TMZ, McCartney, Beck and Hawkins were turned away by the bouncers twice before The Beatles star joked, "How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit, guys. Work on it!" Beck reassured McCartney that "next year," hopefully, he would be allowed to go to Tyga's afterparty.
