According to a royal expert, the firm was unaware that the Duke of Sussex was going to speak publicly about the royal family rift with the BBC until right before his interview went live.

The journalist claimed the move caused the firm "considerable irritation" when they found out about the bombshell interview "minutes before broadcast." Said Hardman, "As the Duke of Sussex might say, it felt like a bit of a stitch-up." _ In the shocking interview, Prince Harry said he "would love a reconciliation" with King Charles III, Prince William and the rest of the royal family. "There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family. I would love reconciliation with my family.
