"The way that the show came about was Jimmy and the girls and I shared the same agent," Brooks told E! News in an exclusive interview ahead of the series' premiering on Hulu Aug. 26. "I feel like he was a great addition to the team." Indeed, Brooks, 28, shared that while an unlikely piece, Jimmy fit right into their dynamic. "He brings a lot of comedic relief during tough times in the world," Brooks continued. "We've always been fans of his show and so whenever it was positioned to us for him to be a producer, he hadn't done anything like this, we were so honored and humbled." "We got to take our parents to one of his live shows in Brooklyn last year and it was the highlight of their lives," Brooks added. "I think it was such a full circle pinch me moment." Jimmy, for his part, has already made it clear to the Nader family that he is taking his EP role extremely seriously. "Anything he does, he works really hard on," Brooks explained.
