Multiple Oscar nominee Annette Bening has joined the Paramount+ show, which has a working title of The Dutton Ranch. The series will focus on Beth (Reilly) and Rip (Hauser) after the end of the flagship series, which saw them move to a new ranch. Finn Little will also reprise his role as Carter. Additionally, the series has named Chad Feehan as showrunner. Feehan previously worked with Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan as the showrunner of Lawmen: Bass Reeves. His credits also include Rectify, Ray Donovan and Banshee. Adams, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Ben Schnetzer and Amiah Miller - and CBS' upcoming Y: Marshals. Another prequel, 1944, is in development. Bening's recent credits include her Oscar-nominated role in Nyad, Peacock's Apples Never Fall and Death on the Nile. She's also starring with Anya Taylor-Joy in an Apple TV+ limited series called Lucky. Bening is repped by CAA and Gochman Law Group. Deadline first reported the news.
