Former Bachelor Sean Lowe has dreams that his three children will each meet The One. "My hope is that they'll find some high school sweetheart. I actually want them to get married young," Lowe, 41, said on the Monday, August 18, episode of Madi Prewett's "Stay True" podcast. "I think society today says, 'You gotta establish a career and make sure everything's settled and then get married.'" Lowe shares sons Samuel, 9, and Isaiah, 7, as well as daughter Mia, 5, with wife Catherine Giudici, whom he met during his season of The Bachelor in 2013. "I got married at 30, and [Catherine] was 28. I would rather see them get married young, and that's the foundation of things to come," Lowe said. "Like, get married and, of course, spiritual maturity is a big part of that. Get married to someone who loves the Lord as much as you do, and then build your life after that. That's kind of my hope." Why Catherine Giudici Got 'Really Mad' at Sean Lowe Hours Before Proposal Lowe, a former collegiate football player, worked as a salesman when he first appeared on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette before taking over the lead role himself the next year. Giudici, now 39, worked as a graphic designer for Amazon when she signed up to meet Lowe on The Bachelor. Throughout their reality TV journey, Giudici was aware of how important Lowe's faith was to him. However, she did not know it was a make-or-break trait in a partner until the very last minute. "On The Bachelor, you're talking about a lot of surface-level stuff," Lowe recalled to Prewett, 29, on Monday's episode. "I had all these important things [to talk about] with Catherine. I knew that I wanted to propose, but I [had] to make sure that she knows all these things." Lowe made an off-camera visit to Giudici's hotel room the night before he was set to hold his final rose ceremony. Bachelor Nation's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's Relationship Timeline "He comes in, and he talks at me for five minutes [with] no breath," Giudici said. "I'm just sitting there, like, 'What is happening? You just rocked my world.' He explicitly said, 'I will not unite with someone [who] will not make Christ the center of our home.'" Giudici, who did not grow up as devout as Lowe, was initially taken aback that this was the first time he brought up faith. "I didn't understand what he grew up with [and] what he was taught from a very young age, and how important this decision was for him," she added. "For me, I was like, 'Cool, whatever.' I had a weight on what marriage was, but [not] the unity and bond under God. Those are taken very differently. I was at a more surface level of understanding." Giudici continued, "I got really mad because he totally dropped a bomb on me and left. I was also mad because I felt like he hadn't seen that if I wasn't there still, then I would have been up for the challenge. I would have left if I wasn't under the understanding that [was] what you need." Lowe proposed to Giudici, eliminating runner-up Lindsay Yenter, the next day. Afterward, Giudici started pursuing a religious journey, which now includes weekly church services with their children.
