The Grammy-winning "Old Town Road" rapper, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was caught on video by TMZ wearing just his underwear and a pair of cowboy boots as he ambled down Ventura Boulevard in the Studio City section of L.A. Police said passersby made several calls to report the scene taking place around 4 a.m., the outlet reported on Thursday. "Upon arrival, the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody," a spokesperson for the LAPD said. "He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a Police Officer." The LAPD has not released the rapper's name in connection with the incident; no details about a possible drug overdose were disclosed by the department regarding the hospitalized man. ABC7 reported that a source told the station that the suspect in the LAPD report was the rapper, who is known for flamboyant dress and videos that push boundaries. It is unclear if the platinum-selling artist will be arraigned, as he is now recovering in a local hospital.
