Added the monarch, "[You have] our recognition and maximum gratitude for the incredible effort and work you are doing to protect the civilian population and to try to extinguish [the fires] as quickly as possible." _ King Felipe VI was visiting Greece with Queen Letizia and their two daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, when the natural disaster broke out. According to Sky News, the European Union's firefighting forces are providing aid to Spain.
