A high school band director in Florida has been arrested after he allegedly sent sexual social media messages to a student. The Fort Myers Police Department announced in a news release that Leroy Irving Jr. was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service on Tuesday, May 12. Irving worked as the band director at Dunbar High School in Lee County at the time of his arrest. The police department said in the news release that it had been investigating Irving ever since they received a complaint about him and a student in March.
