Actress and comedian Julia Louis-Dreyfus surprised Stephen Colbert with a fitting send-off on the Tuesday, May 12, episode of The Late Show. The 65-year-old Seinfeld alum read Colbert some light roasts as Selina Meyer, the oblivious and rude politician she played on Veep. Meyer said that Colbert was a fan of the HBO show, which ended in 2019, and had some of the series' writers give her some quips for the late-night host. "By the way, he does not know what I'm about to do," she told the audience. "I got some of the Veep writers together to write a Veep-style tribute to you.
