Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett said constitutional change should "come from the people" during a public appearance in Arkansas, where she also rejected being labeled a conservative justice and instead described herself as an "originalist." Barrett, who joined the Supreme Court in 2020 after being nominated by Donald Trump during his first term, spoke at an event hosted by the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark. The event was part of the museum's yearlong celebration marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
