A five-second clip from a 2017 press event for Half Girlfriend has resurfaced, placing the actor at the centre of internet mockery. The seemingly ordinary moment from the promotions, where Arjun is seen staring blankly alongside co-star Shraddha Kapoor, was repurposed by meme creators. By stripping away the original audio and adding the track Ho Underworld by Dada Sadhu, they created what is now being called the Arjun Kapoor meme song.
