Watch: Barbara Palvin Shares Endometriosis DiagnosisTim Drury and Kelsey Drury are watching a miracle unfold. Indeed, after their 2-year-old son Jack was diagnosed with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD)-an extremely rare and fatal neurodegenerative disorder-the couple launched Jack's Miracle Mission to ask their community for help launching the first-ever INAD gene therapy clinical trial. Before they knew it, what began as a movement within a small circle of friends and family transformed into so much more, with even celebrities-including Real Housewives of New Jersey alums Rachel Fuda, Margaret Josephs and Danielle Cabral as well as Jersey Shore stars Deena Buckner and Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi-doing their part to uplift his story. "We hope families see that even in the face of devastating news, there is power in hope, community, and action," Tim and Kelsey told E! News in a joint interview. "No one can do this alone, but when people come together, impossible things can become possible."readSharon Stone Tears Up Over Joining Eric Dane on Euphoria Season 3 Amid His ALS Diagnosis"Our community has answered the call," they continued. "Faith coupled with works, moves mountains. The power of community is real." The Drury family received Jack's diagnosis last July after months of tests and uncertainty following his premature birth. "We expected him to take a little longer to hit milestones, but as time went on, we noticed he wasn't catching up," the couple explained. "He struggled with mobility and muscle tone. And despite early intervention and physical and occupational therapy, the gap kept growing."Jack's Miracle Mission And while getting answers in the form of a diagnosis brought a wave of relief at first, Tim and Kelsey quickly realized that there were not nearly enough resources available for children fighting INAD-and not enough people fighting for there to be. "Because INAD is so rare, most people, including many doctors, have never heard of it," they shared. "All funding for potential treatments comes from individuals, families, and small organizations, as no pharmaceutical companies are willing to invest in a disease this rare, because of the little return on investment." So, the couple is hoping that by amplifying Jack's story, they will ultimately raise awareness for all children that are dealing with the same disease.

Jack's Miracle Mission "Awareness is what fuels action," they continued. "Every time Jack's story is shared, we open the door to more donations, more advocacy, and more urgency to fund life-saving treatment for all children impacted with INAD. The only path to a cure is through people learning about INAD and choosing to be part of the fight." And despite their baby boy's difficult health journey, Jack has remained full of infectious joy and a bubbly personality. "Jack is our joyful, sweet two-year-old boy with the biggest belly laugh you've ever heard," his parents gushed. "The kind that echoes through a room and makes everyone smile. He adores his grandparents' dog, lights up watching his cousins play, and finds pure delight in being held. He's gentle, loving, and curious, with a spark in his eyes that draws people in instantly."
