The Daytime Emmy Award-nominated and two-time News & Documentary Emmy Award-winning journalist has anchored three decades of Inside Edition and is the longest-serving female anchor in American television history. Her last episode of Inside Edition was on May 21 of this year. Norville joined Inside Edition in 1995 after serving as a correspondent and anchor at CBS News. Her other stints in her 45-year career include hosting NBC's Today, anchoring NBC News at Sunrise, and hosting Deborah Norville Tonight on MSNBC and Deborah Norville Show on the ABC Talk Radio Network. This fall, she will return to TV as host of The Perfect Line, a syndicated game show from CBS Media Ventures. "When I first walked into a newsroom as a college student, I couldn't have imagined a journey that would span more than four decades, take me around the globe, and introduce me to so many remarkable people, Norville says in a statement. "The Lifetime Achievement Honor is an extraordinary capstone, and I am grateful to NATAS, my colleagues, and the viewers who have welcomed me into their homes for so many years."
