'The Invite' Sundance Institute EXCLUSIVE: A24's big buy out of this year's Sundance, the Olivia Wilde directed and starring sexy relationship comedy, The Invite, will be opening limited on June 26, Deadline has learned. As we first told you, The Invite, which received big laughs at its premiere on the Eccles last month in Park City, UT, sold after an intense bidding war between Focus Features, Warner Bros' new genre label, Sony and more to A24 for $10M+. The multi-Oscar winning studio took North American on the pic. The sale was handled by UTA Independent Film Group and FilmNation.
