A main topic of discussion between the experts in the field was the oft-changing rules that govern Emmy eligibility, including how a recent rule about not being able to submit a title for both the Emmys and Oscars has softened somewhat; as of now, one can submit for an Emmy as long as you aren't nominated for an Oscar.
