The writer and star of the original Ghostbusters has officially boarded Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation's animated series as EP, Netflix revealed today in its Annecy lineup. Netflix hasn't given a whole lot of detail about the TV show - there is also an animated movie in the works - but has said it will be "based on the beloved Ghostbusters IP" and "debut exclusively on Netflix in 2027.
