The police have addressed a bone being found near the home of Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy Guthrie, amid her disappearance. A spokesperson for the Tucson Police Department told People that a human bone was found on Thursday, May 7, seven miles from Nancy's house. The police investigated the bone and determined that it was a "prehistoric anthropological investigation" and not criminal in nature. The authorities added that the University of Arizona Department of Anthropology and the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner assisted in investigating the bone.
