The new DC Universe takes off with Superman (2025), which stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult and others. And while the movie is a big box office hit and still in select theaters nationwide, you can now watch the new superhero movie at home. Starting on Friday, Aug. 15, Superman is available to buy or rent online on digital in 4K Ultra HD starting at $24.99 on Prime Video, Apple TV and elsewhere. Although the studio has yet to announce the movie's streaming date, it will likely drop sometime in late September or early October. An HBO Max subscription is required to stream Superman when it is available, and the streamer starts at $9.99 per month with ads. HBO Max is home to hit originals such as Emmy-nominated series The White Lotus, The Last of Us, Hacks, House of the Dragon, The Pitt and much more.
